Support Centres
Franchisees are supported by the Regional Centres of V-KOOL
International. Asia will be serviced out of Singapore headoffice,
North America from Houston headoffice, Middle East out of
Dubai Regional Centre, China from Shanghai Regional Centre
and Latin America out of Mexico Regional Centre. A dedicated
manager will be assigned to each territory to provide support
in the areas of training, operations, marketing, franchising,
technical and product knowledge.
Brand Equity Management
Branding is a critical aspect of the business to enhance the
equity of V-KOOL network. The Franchisor has engaged Spinnaker360
since 1997 (then GMX Creative), for this function. Spinnaker360
reviews the branding requirements of V-KOOL and develops branding
strategies throughout the year for implementation. Branding
campaigns, marketing support materials (eg. Brochures, flyers,
direct mailers, information CDs, etc) and collateral support
systems (eg. Exhibition system, demonstration kits) created
by the department are launched regularly to all Master Franchisees.
An exclusive ‘image library’ tailored for the
V-KOOL auto and architectural markets is also in progress
so that Master Franchisees can acquire imagines for their
specific use at a minimal cost.
Structured Training
Franchisees receive professional advice and support in setting
up and operating the franchise. Newly joined franchisees are
given an intensive 5-day Management Training and 10-day Installation
Training conducted by specialized trainers. Training includes
business planning, strategy formulation, model outlet set-up,
inventory planning, marketing support and operations support.
Continuous training is provided throughout the year when new
modules/techniques are developed.
Brand & Operations Audit
Audits are conducted regularly at Franchisees premises to
continuous improve the stores. A qualified Franchise Auditor
will evaluate the performance of the Franchisees in the following
areas: Branding, Sales & Marketing, Administration, Technical
and House Keeping.
Technical Support
The R&D department is tasked to develop new products or
processes to enhance the competitive edge of the Franchise.
The recent inventions have resulted in new patents being filed
and first-in-the-industry demonstration equipment developed.
Energy audit calculation on energy saving and payback is also
undertaken by the Research Scientist of the R&D department.
